Bougainvillea (Jahanemia) Ceramic Censer

     There is a plant that climbs walls, spreading, glowing in the scorching heat. Its name is derived from Hell (Jehenem) and prehaps makes the neighborhood appear heavenly.

     When dry, its petals are like delicate papers, preserving its colour, falling, heaping, dancing in circles, when the breeze tickles, rustling, scattering and gathering again.

     I found from its bearing to the high heat, its appropriateness to be a majlis censer, where the smoke of incense and oud rise through it.

     As papers, I collected, grinded, crumbled, mixed into a paste, kneaded and spread to dry again.

To become romantic letters, to write upon, from the warmth of feelings or their heat.

المبخرة الجهنمية (سيراميك)  

هناك نبتة تتسلق الجدران، تنتشر وتتوهج ورودها في الحر الشديد. اسمها مشتق من جهنم ولعلها تجعل من الحي جنة. عندما تجف تصبح بتلاتها كالورق الرقيق، تظل محتفظة بلونها، تتساقط، تتكوم. تتراقص في دوائر عندما يداعبها النسيم، مخشخشه، تتناثر وتتجمع من جديد.

لقيت من احتمالها للحرارة المرتفعة، ان تكون مناسبة لتصير مبخرة المجلس، يتصاعد من خلالها دخان البخور والعود.

لأنها كالورق، جمعتها، دققتها، فتُتها، مزجتها، عجنتها، وفردتها، ثم جفَت مرة أخرى.

.أمست رسائل محبة، يكتب عليها من دفئ المشاعر او حرارتها.
