Madrid Station 2023

يفتتح اليوم معرض محطة الفن المعاصر2023، ومحطة اليوم في مدريد، اسبانيا. ولغاية نهاية شهر شباط.

يسعدني المشاركة مع مجموعة مختارة من الفنانين بلوحتي كوكب السكينة المرسومة بالأكريليك والباستيل الزيتي.

ولقد شاركت سابقاَ في عام 2019 في اول محطة حينها وكانت في شوبويا, طوكيو, اليابان.

الهدف هو عرض فن مؤثر لحشود الناس المتوجهة لأعمالهم اليومية، عبر محطة نفق الميترو، وإيقافهم لبرهة للاستمتاع بهذا الفن.

في كلتا المرتين، عند العرض دولياً أحببت محاكاة المكانين، وكأنني زرتهما سابقاً بمخيلتي، واحتضنت الموقع قبل ان تستقر فيه قطعتي الفنية. ففي اليابان كانت لحظة الهام شنتو، بينما في اسبانيا مستلهمة من غاودي, كنوع من الألفة والصداقة الثقافية.

Today marks the opening of the Contemporary Art Station Exhibition 2023, and today’s Station is held at Madrid, Spain, until the end of February.

I am delighted to join a group of selected artists, with my painting Planet Tranquil, painted in acrylics & oil pastels.

I have joined previously in 2019, the First Edition, that was in Shibuya, Tokyo, Japan. The goal was to exhibit art, that effects crowds of public, heading towards their busy lives, through the metro station. An attempt to slow down, stop for a moment, and enjoy it.

Both occasions, when exhibiting internationally, I wanted the mimesis of the place, as if I have visited it before in my imagination, with an embrace, before the art settles there; In Japan, it was a Shinto moment. In Spain, it was inspired by Gaudi, as a kind of familiarity & cultural friendship.
